The L&D Specialist will step into a variety of roles focusing primarily on e-Learning/Instruction Design and Development, In-person and virtual facilitation as well as management of talent development programs, processes and technologies.

They will manage the scheduling, registration, and facilitation of assigned courses. They will participate in the development and rollout of L&D programs, courses, curricula, and events. They will be assigned elements of a deliverable (e.g., activity, support materials, pre-work, voiceover, eLearning feedback and revisions) and work independently to complete those tasks.

The L&D Specialist will partner with other talent development professionals to help build out and support strong programs and processes that retain, develop and support employees across the organization. Audio and video editing experience is preferred.


  • Facilitate learning (in-person, online) of concrete content (e.g., process, procedure, technology). Materials prepared primarily by others. Responsible for knowing and delivering content and interacting successfully with learners.
  • Share continuous improvement opportunities and suggestions based on in-class experiences.  Partner with more senior developers to complete course enhancements.
  • Assist in instructional development of training projects initiated by the Request for Training intake process.
  • Versatile; possess the ability to quickly flex based on changing business needs
  • Collaborative, creative and curious


·       Associates or Bachelor's degree in Training and Development or 3 years of relevant business experience and/or supporting certifications.

·       Basic understanding of Instructional Design models, and experience completing instructional design pieces from concept through design, development and implementation.

·       Demonstrated ability to present in front of groups.  Also experience with facilitating processes and decision-making meetings.

  • Familiar with e-Learning programs such as Adobe Articulate (Storyline, Rise) and other design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
