The HR Legal Administrative Coordinator I is a hands-on representative of the HR Legal team who helps facilitate basic functions and provides timely, proactive administrative support to assigned individual(s) or team(s).

This position is responsible for preparing and coordinating any functions pertaining to employment, compensation, labor negotiations and employee relations. The position plays an active role in formulating methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices as well as recommending changes to management.


·    Handle highly sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis;

·    Maintain calendars & schedule; manage email in-boxes

·    Answer, screen, direct and follow-up when appropriate on phone calls

·    Prepare, proof and distribute correspondence; handle incoming mail, complete mailing projects

·    Schedule & prepare environment for meetings; create documents for meetings and department events (e.g. agendas, handouts, catering); complete, store & distribute meeting minutes or notes as required.

·    Assist with preparation and proofing of reports, materials and documents (e.g. presentations, department communications, spreadsheets, charts)

·    Access PeopleSoft HRIS database and PowerBI Reports; run queries for information as needed to support delivery partners. run reports, update files, and input data where needed.

·    Provide training and direction for other system users.

·    File maintenance and management (hardcopy and electronic) following legal retention requirements, as appropriate (e.g., AW Records Management process)

·    Coordinate travel arrangements and assist with completion of expense reports

·    Coordinate appropriate internal processes (e.g., invoice processing, P-cards, time reporting)

·    Maintain appropriate levels of office supplies, equipment & other materials

·    Complete special projects as assigned

·    Maintain standard work for position

·    Provide information on behalf of leaders to business partners

·    Attend, participate, create, and administer meeting minutes

·    Coordinate department events

·    Provide back up to other administrative personnel as required

Other duties as required


    Flexibility, cooperation and negotiation skills

    ·    High School degree or equivalent work experience is required

    ·    Minimum 1-3 years experience in legal administrative or HR support role.

    ·    Highly motivated with ability to pro-actively provide support

    ·    Strong at sorting and organizing information to develop informative clear communication vehicles

    ·    Capable of independently managing multiple tasks/projects in a professional, efficient manner

    ·    Excellent customer service & follow-through skills

    ·    Strong desktop computer skills (MS Office applications including spreadsheet, presentation, word processing, email, schedule management and associated software)

    ·    Experience with HRIS software or database software

    ·    Ability to exercise sound judgment and strict confidentiality standards 

    ·    Must have strong writing and communication skills

    ·    Establishes good interpersonal relationships with others

    ·    Ability to manage multiple and/or time dependent activities

    During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
