Renewal by Andersen (RbA) has an exciting opportunity to join the Chicago market team! As a Canvassing Manager with RbA, you will be surrounded by a highly energized team who is passionate about enriching the lives of our homeowners.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to cost effectively drive non-media lead generation and local awareness through the local canvassing program while managing to a set budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of canvassers with a direct hands-on approach, provides motivation and coaching to help team reach daily, weekly and monthly goals.
  • Recruits, hires, train canvassers through cost effective recruiting tools including partnering with temporary agencies when appropriate.
  • Oversees all canvass field activities, including training, role playing, daily meetings, field supervision and motivating team members.
  • Create and develop the culture of the local canvassing team, through personal role modeling desired behaviors and techniques.
  • Monitors and coaches every team member to ensure they are following proper procedures, scripts and customer service guidelines.
  • In partnership with marketing leadership team, creates annual budget with the sole purpose of generating qualified leads and appointments through canvassing efforts.
  • Coordinate canvass logistics with mapping and tracking, permit logistics, script and flyer maintenance, organizing field lead sheets, verifying / validating leads gathered during each shift.
  • Coordinates w/ Corporate Marketing to assist with local implementation and tracking of other corporate marketing initiatives.
  • Establishes positive community relations through involvement in community organizations.


  • High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in management experience in face-to-face marketing, canvassing, marketing, business development, or related field.
  • Excellent training and coaching skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills and leadership ability
  • Budget management experience
  • Ability to think strategically and project management skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
