Andersen Windows and Doors is seeking an experienced and motivated bi-lingual Spanish Human Resource professional for its HR Coordinator position. This is a hands-on role facilitating all basic Human Resources functions.


Administrative duties

  • Run reports, update KPI files, and input data
  • Coordinate annual employee training  (CPR, AED, BBP, First Aid, RTK, etc.)
  • Coordinate plant or department events  
  • HRIS/Record Retention
  • Enter new employees into HRIS system.  Runs queries as needed
  • Maintain employee files in compliance with records retention policy and applicable legal requirements.       
  • Act as site liaison in troubleshooting associate issues relating to payroll, timekeeping and benefits.

Recruiting Process:

  • Assist with recruiting efforts
  • Assist with screening, interviewing and selecting candidates
  • Coordinate necessary pre-employment testing
  • Act as liaison between Company and staffing service partners
  • Participate in and coordinate the new hire orientation process

Employee Relations Facilitation

  • Direct associates seeking policy clarification and HR-related inquiries to management and/or an HR Generalist.
  • Coordinate various associate meetings, including scheduling, invitations, room arrangements, lunches, maintaining attendance records.
  • Participate in community partnership events and activities.
  • Compile information and create stand-up meeting notes for supervisors.

Health Services/Safety

  • Assist associates with medical leave related questions and paperwork, coordinating with Corporate Health Services.
  • Assist associates and supervisors in the return-to-work process.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Bi-lingual Spanish and English is required
  • Highly motivated; capable of independently managing multiple tasks/projects in a professional, efficient manner
  • Partnership and teamwork is a must
  • Excellent customer service & follow-through skills
  • Outstanding desktop computer skills (MS Office applications)
  • Experience with PeopleSoft/Oracle and Kronos applications
  • Strong at sorting and organizing information

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter.
