Renewal by Andersen currently has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Retail Manager in our greater Cleveland market!

This role combines sales, business development, and marketing. No week will be the same, and you will be working from the field most of the time. The Associate Retail Manager will partner with the Event & Retail Manager to grow the market’s retail footprint, primarily through the development and management of local retail partnerships. Another major component of the role will be recruiting, hiring, and training marketing representatives, as well as staffing and scheduling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees development and participation in retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities, including on-site administration, resource supervision, and other implementation details
  • Negotiates contracts with retail partners and outside vendors to procure space and to obtain the best value for our investment
  • Manages the department calendar
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training; will also provide in-field coaching
  • Leads classroom training to teach new staff RbA methodology and processes.
  • Provides guidance, training, and work direction to retail marketing reps

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications preferred or equivalent skills and abilities
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic thinking skills, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills
