POSITION PURPOSE 

 

Facilitate and execute our corporate tour program through the historic Andersen plant in Bayport, MN. As an Andersen tour expert, you will assist our field sales representatives in capturing business opportunities and retaining customers through a focused and highly engaging tour experience. You will show our customers where and how Andersen products are made, familiarize them with Andersen’s award-winning innovation, and share Andersen’s storied history.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Andersen visitors (including dealers, trade customers, executive leaders, and new employees) through Bayport production areas, test labs, RD&I, and product showrooms. Maintain a highly focused and professional image while being an Andersen brand ambassador.
  • Provide welcome presentations that educate groups on Andersen and its history. Ensure all visits are conducted in a professional, polished, and consistent manner.
  • Maintain Andersen network within the plant to stay apprised of changes and updates that have been made to incorporate into the tour. Remain educated on all Andersen product lines, new launches, updates to the plant, and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with Event Planners and others in the organization to ensure the best tour experience for each customer group visit.
  • Transport customers in Polaris Gems.  Maintain Polaris Gem transportation, ensuring they are clean, charged, and in excellent working order.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Evidence of continued education, degree, or certificate preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role. 
  • A demonstrated ability to gain broad enterprise knowledge and promote the brand.
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
  • Customer-first mindset.
  • Collaborative, open to new ideas, and offers thoughtful insight to take work to the next level.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills (to executives with sales and marketing, and to customers).
  • Valid drivers license and ability to transport customers

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter.
