Renewal by Andersen has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team in our Jessup office. The Field Service Technician will provide superior customer service by performing repairs and maintenance service on RbA products.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair previously installed RbA products.
  • Analyzes customers situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost efficient and effective manner.
  • Keep team member informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
  • Provide accurate part descriptions, including part number to Service RSR.
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance and inventory.
  • Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
  • Basic knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of window installation experience preferred.
  • High school degree and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Basic construction techniques; good knowledge of basic construction and building materials; knowledge of terminology of the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful and diplomatic approach.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving and decision-making skills; follow systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at acceptable solutions.
  • Diagnostic skills: assessment, problem solving and decision making.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills; strong listening and empathy skills; organization skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levels.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensations package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $22hr - $35hr plus annual incentive.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
