POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide the protection of people and property at Andersen Corporation sites by conducting patrols, utilizing security-related technology and tools, responding to emergency situations and other general security functions as directed by the Security Supervisor/Manager. Adheres to Company and Department policies and procedures when responding to and supporting various situations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides patrols and performs duties via foot and vehicle to ensure the safety and security of Andersen’s employees, guests and facilities.
- Interacts with guests, vendors, contractors and employees while providing a positive brand experience.
- Ensures proper response to both emergency and non-emergency situations such as (medicals, facility incident, hazardous/emergency situations). Documents and reports information to the appropriate internal and external partners in accordance with Company and Department policies and procedures.
- Utilize security related technology to keep our teams, facilities, and assets safe and secure.
- Fire protection and monitoring systems
- Access control systems
- CCTV camera systems
- Supports the development and execution of projects in support of the continuous improvement of the Corporate Security program. Coordinates and maintains select aspects of the security program as directed by leadership.
- Site-specific support such as projects, events, or access operations requests and other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Partners with Human Resources, Facilities, Security Supervisor and Corporate Security Services Manager for conducting investigations and complex security matters. Provides security support for issues that may pose an elevated risk.
- Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in the physical security industry and/or operations center environment.
- First aid and CPR certified or able to achieve first aid and CPR certification upon being hired.
- Knowledgeable about physical security technology, follow security processes and have knowledge of computers and computer systems.
- Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with various levels of employees and leadership.
- Able to meet Fleet requirements required to drive a company vehicle.
- Strong written and verbal communication and focused on providing strong customer service.
- Able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Able to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time daily.
- Able to climb ladders and perform duties at various heights.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $21.80 to $31.60 per hour.
