POSITION SUMMARY

Renewal by Andersen is looking for an accomplished, driven, and collaborative Project Leader on our Research, Development and Innovation team to chart the course for our future product launches. 

 

There has never been a more exciting time to be a leader in research and development at Andersen.  This project manager will be an integral leader within the New Product Development team.  The purpose of this role is to deliver new products and services via Stage-Gate product development processes.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the development and implementation of the company’s products and services involving cross functional, multi-site and 3rd party vendor teams
  • Manages a large multi-year product development program, while overseeing several sub projects
  • Assesses project risk and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and business case objectives
  • Provides regular status reports to senior business leaders, cross functional partners, and clients
  • Document and Communicate Innovation Roadmaps to align cross-functional groups on longer term development efforts
  • Visibility to executive leaders as the face of significant new product launches
  • Opportunity to impact the customer experience from concept creation to fruition and satisfaction
  • Opportunity to interact directly with the customer

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience with 5+ years leading multi-year product development initiatives
  • Demonstrated project management experience with ability to lead projects of varying scope and complexity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to create and sustain an environment that promotes good communications
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • Demonstrated organization skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts and drive towards win-win solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, consistently taking the initiative to get things done, doing things before being asked by others or forced to by events

  • Coordinate and lead internal cross functional meetings

  • Monitor and help project team members to meet commitments 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily located in an office environment; however, there is an opportunity to work in a flexible/hybrid work environment depending on the preferences of the candidate.   This role is based in Renewal by Andersen’s Cottage Grove, MN facility.

COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $108,941 - $168,859.

In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
