SUMMARY:

To efficiently clean, sweep and maintain all cost centers and factory floor aisles throughout the Double Hung Value Stream

by operating automatic equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Performs routine and non-routine cleaning and housekeeping duties in an office or plant and other areas as required

· May vacuum, sweep, mop and wax floors and stairs

· May operate industrial cleaning equipment/machinery in performing assigned duties as required

· Recommend/report repairs to appropriate management

· Duties require moderate physical strength

· Must be able to read and follow label instructions on cleaning materials

· Maintain supplies in storage areas

· Provides duties for special events/areas

Routine Work:

· Keep public areas clean

· Keep offices, break rooms, and Corridors clean

· Vacuum, clean rugs and carpets

· Dust and clean walls, doors, windows, woodwork and other above-floor surfaces

· Dust clean and polish furniture

· Notify lead of equipment and facilities needing repair or replacement

· Perform related work as required and instructed

Characteristic Non-Routine Work

· Stripping and refinishing floors

· Vacuuming furniture and drapes

· Window washing

· Wall washing

· Light fixture vacuuming and washing

· Related work as required and as instructed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment

· Knowledge of using the appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment)

· High school diploma or its equivalent

· Skillful in cleaning and waxing

· Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength

· Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment

· Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions

· Ability to establish and maintain working relations with Supervisor, lead, and fellow workers

· Must be able to read and follow label instructions on cleaning materials

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:

• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hrs

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, etc.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
