Andersen is seeking a Supply Chain Process Designer at our Bayport Minnesota and Cottage Grove, Minnesota locations.

This position is responsible for managing and driving the material and information flow processes within projects. Key focus is developing the complete end-to-end supply chain system and being a key contributor on medium to large scale projects.

  • Develop material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions.
  • Design and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on medium to large scale projects.
  • Design and implement an information flow system containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives.
  • Build reciprocal working relationships with people from across the organization and suppliers.
  • Communicate new ideas, project status, and results to project team and leadership through organized presentations that promote dialogue and understanding.
  • Develop new concepts and ideas that reduce overall costs across the supply chain

  • 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in project leadership, supply chain, IT, operations or manufacturing/industrial engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology.
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with change management strategies.
  • Project management skills
  • Cross-functional exposure preferred
  • Ability to travel if required

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.  Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
