Commands a deep knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain, especially within the technical systems environments and their interactions with other business functions such as finance, order, and engineering. Works with functional leaders to assess current business capabilities,
gaps and opportunities to better connect business objectives to the people, process, technology and data changes needed to achieve them. Responsible for facilitating, supporting, and managing the business processes and capabilities. Leads at a business-level across functional boundaries by enabling business solutions to satisfy business strategies. Solves complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Delivers measurable value to the enterprise in KPI results, enablement of targeted business growth, and employee experience through optimized processes and technical solutions.
The job grade will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with functional and technology leaders to assess current business capabilities, gaps, and opportunities. Develops cross-functional solutions and capabilities.
- Recommends and develops standard processes and procedures.
- for functional areas.
- Works jointly with leadership to facilitate the creation of functional area capability assessments and roadmaps.
- Uses customer expectations to recommend and develop performance measures across the supply chain to drive continuous improvement
- Coaches and mentors supply chain employees that are executing daily business processes to achieve optimal results
- Shares best practices and lessons learned to develop common supply chain tools and processes
- Facilitates and leads complex functional projects and kaizen events focused on continuous improvement of business processes and waste reduction
- Actively continues education to stay current on industry and professional trends, capabilities, and technologies
- Participates in strategic planning and blueprinting exercises by providing current state knowledge as well as insights into the future direction
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree and 8+ years’ experience preferred
- Displays a deep knowledge within discipline, including relevant methodologies (ERP, Lean Sigma, business process development, architecture) and interactions with other business functions such as finance, order, sourcing, IT, SC planning, logistics, manufacturing and engineering
- Capable of setting vision and strategy at the functional level
- Demonstrates knowledge of the integration of lean activities necessary to support a complete value stream
- Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships
- Knowledge of change management strategies and processes required to support an organization
- Applies a variety of coaching techniques to develop an individual’s knowledge and skills
- Applies negotiation and conflict management techniques between two or more parties in a manner that provides a win-win solution for all
- Self-starter & self-motivated in ambiguous situation
- Ability to strike a balance between practical solutions and alignment with the architectural vision
COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216-$153,784 annually.
