SUMMARY

Develop and lead analysis, interpretations, and implementing very complex financial and accounting concepts, change management initiatives, business process improvements or techniques related to accounts payable or receivables processes, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures by performing the following duties:

Compiles, classifies, consolidates, examines and analyzes very complex enterprise accounting processes; prepares or provides direction for related financial statement analysis impacting balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, etc. According to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

With, little or no supervisory review interprets and applies corporate financial policies, government legislation and accounting theory as applicable.  Monitors the system of internal accounting controls to ensure the safeguarding of company assets and compliance with company policies and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports and leads critical accounting cycles in support of enterprise programs: travel and entertainment, procurement card, 3rd party providers for external payment services, etc.
  • Responsibilities include period end, year-end, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal/external audits, senior management support, etc.
  • Supports and leads the design, development, testing and implementation of business process, policy, and software changes for these programs.
  • Ensures strong system of internal controls and policy compliance through the performance of program audits, analytical controls and measurements, etc.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • More than 7 years related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experiences supporting company card programs or service organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from four-year College or university; CPA or CMA preferred
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Suite of office software products (excel, windows, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and minimal manage direction
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle conflict in a mature and professional manner as part of ensuring policy compliance
  • Strong customer service skills are required

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.  Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
