SUMMARY
The Multi-site Human Resources Manager provides leadership to multiple manufacturing operations sites and teams within Andersen’s growing 100 Series product line. They are responsible for leading the HR business partner team and HR strategic delivery in accordance with business goals across 3 geographically diverse plants. This leader will strategize, plan, and move seamlessly to execution to deliver organizational effectiveness, enhance value, enabling the business to achieve its performance targets. In addition, this leadership role is a key member of the business leadership team and will be responsible for driving HR functional excellence across multi-site operations.
This position will be based in Garland, TX, is primarily an on-site role, and will require travel (10-20%) to facilities in – Bayport, MN and Goodyear, AZ.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accountable for influencing leaders (line-level to Plant Manager to Vice President) and partners across a matrixed organization while also serving as a close business partner to leaders and on all human resources matters, including providing counsel and support on talent acquisition, employee engagement, inclusion and retention, diversity, employee relations, performance management, team building, coaching and development, succession planning, compensation, legal and regulatory compliance and site safety, security, and crisis management. and providing HR advice, counsel, and decision support to address challenges and enhance team effectiveness.
· Coaches and develops leaders, their HR team, and employees. Is a change agent and leader who applies change management framework and change leadership lens to all situations.
· Builds thoughtful and strategic talent and engagement plans in alignment with business goals.
· Leads, motivates, guides, and inspires the human resources team talent, by building relationships and fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, development, and accountability.
· Partners with the broader operations-facing HR leadership team and HR centers of excellence teams to influence and provide stakeholder feedback, supporting the deployment of HR programs, HR process harmonization and efficiencies, ultimately delivering an employee experience in alignment with our company values. Fosters a high level of leader and team engagement, focusing on commitment through coaching and robust communications.
· Serves as a key member of the human resources and operations business leadership teams and is actively involved in planning, projects, communication, and enterprise-wide programs that support the business.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Demonstrates a proven track record of excellent interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, build long-lasting relationships - influence at all levels.
· Strategic business thinker with the demonstrated ability to understand multiple plant and functional business goals, recommend new approaches, programs, policies and processes that yield business/engagement improvement.
· Demonstrated ability to support and lead large and small change initiatives across multiple plants and functions using change management and communications principles and methods.
· Experience & comfort with a fast-paced, complex & evolving work environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, delivering results.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
· BA/BS degree in Human Resources, business management/administration or similar discipline. MBA preferred.
· 5+ years of HR business partner experience in HR, Operations, Retail, Logistics/Warehousing, and/or Manufacturing with a proven track record of excellence.
· 7+ years of leadership experience.
· PHR/SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. In addition to your pay, this position is management bonus eligible. Andersen Corporation also currently offers benefits such as comprehensive health benefits, highly competitive 401k contribution, paid time off, 8 paid standard holidays, plus 2 floating holidays, tuition reimbursement, a robust employee wellbeing program, as well as profit sharing (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
