SUMMARY:
The Product and Material Compliance Associate Project Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing compliance projects related to product and material regulations. This role involves ensuring that all product and material compliance reporting efforts are completed in a timely and appropriate manner. In addition, will lead projects to ensure all products and materials meet regulatory requirements by identifying, evaluating, and implementing viable alternatives for banned, targeted, or regulated materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compliance projects related to product and material regulations (e.g., PFAS, Extended Producer Responsibility, Canadian Plastics Registry).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, IT, and legal, to develop necessary work plans, define roles & responsibilities, align to a timeline, and ensure delivery for assigned projects.
- Ensure that all products and materials in scope for assigned projects comply with relevant local, national, and international reporting requirements and regulations.
- Partner with Compliance team to stay up to date with compliance requirements for assigned projects prepare and submit required regulatory documentation.
- Provide training to project teams on compliance requirements and guidance on best practices for ensuring delivery of required results.
- Develop and implement tools, processes, and systems that make future compliance efforts more efficient and effective.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially technical writing.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in product & material compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
