We are looking for a collaborative and results-orientated Design and Quality Leader to join our team within the Research Development & Innovation (RD&I) and Quality organization.  You will be working in an exciting high-visibility role which involves collaborative interaction with senior management, external customers, operations, IT, supply chain, marketing, finance, sales, and service. The primary responsibility is to energize your team to deliver product and process improvement projects from scoping through implementation following a stage gate methodology. 

Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership, coaching, and work direction to a team of 10-14
    • Manage day to day execution of multiple projects
    • Act as liaison to coordinate and manage enterprise resources supporting your projects
    • Define and communicate performance targets for your product line
    • Develop and implement product and process improvement strategy
    • Risk and opportunity identification and management
    • Establish an environment conducive to high morale, employee satisfaction, and performance
    • Active participant in setting yearly budgets and managing to them
    • Acquire the necessary people, technology, and resources to ensure the success of the team
    • Support the hybrid working environment to foster healthy work/life balance for the team
    • Act as a role model for the team, engaging in continuous learning and personal growth

 Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering-related discipline
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading technical teams

 Preferred Qualifications

·       5+ years’ experience leading technical teams

·       Advanced degree in engineering or MBA

·       Lean Six Sigma experience

·       Experience driving a Quality culture

Profit Sharing

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.  Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
