This position will be a procurement & scheduling role with the Garland Team. Daily you will have a parts/suppliers that you will manage, order, count, reconcile. You will also schedule some accessory & unit lines daily.
The Supply Chain Analyst solves problems within a single value stream, function, or relatively small user base. A minimal portion of this role is transactional, with the majority focus on driving continuous improvement. The Supply Chain Analyst uses tools from DMAIC, PDCA, lean, and six sigma methodologies to identify problems and analyze possible solutions. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline. The hours for this position will be 5/ 6am-2/3pm. This candidate must be local to the TX area as there is no relocation assistance or sponsorship for this role
- Role may be in the areas of planning, scheduling or inventory accuracy. Includes execution of processes, investigating discrepancies, developing corrective actions, with an understanding of business impacts of decisions. Coordinate procurement of material to match demands; communicate with suppliers our requirements and forecast.
- Drives continuous improvements on daily processes and tactical projects, performing root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for problem across Supply Chain processes.
- Develop, optimize and integrate detailed business schedules (supplier plans, replenishment models) in a lean environment, to achieve the business goals.
- Understand and communicate value steam and/or supply chain capacity and constraints.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and material planner.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.
- Utilize lean tools and other business processes such as kanban, spike tools, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking.
- Communicate/present lean tool applications such as value stream and process mapping, kaizen and PDCA, value stream mapping, process mapping, and kanban systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a lean environment.
- Advanced computer skills with experience with ERP systems, MS Office and reporting systems (Microsoft BI)
- Strong communication skills through written, verbal and presenting to be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated urgency and responsibility for solving and addressing any roadblocks to hitting goals.
- Strong aptitude in proactive problem identification and process improvement.

COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $68K-102K annually.
