Purpose:
Provide strong organization support for the Dubuque manufacturing plant maintenance team through MRO buying, vendor management and storeroom inventory control.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generation of all requisitions and purchase orders to support all plant maintenance & repair functions by use of all sourcing resources. Including EAM, COUPA, vendor managed inventory, credit card and manual procurement processes.
- Cash flow management of all maintenance related purchase functions. Accountability of all transactions from requisition through invoice receipt.
- Ensure all commitments are applied to the correct budget cost structure.
- Conduct investigations of irregular budget performance or activity.
- Effectively & accurately communicate delivery schedules of all open commitments to the maintenance planning team.
- Establish and maintain successful working relationships with Andersen strategic suppliers.
- Negotiation of contractual deliverables from vendors and suppliers.
- Management of all MRO storeroom Inventories to ensure zero lost production time due to stocking outages.
- Receive, stock and distribute all good purchased through the MRO buying office.
- Work with maintenance team staff to source material needs.
- Work with vendors on corrective measures or to resolve disputes.
- Effectively be able to communicate the status of requisitions, POs and inventory.
- Explore alternative sources for all materials to provide better cost, delivery or performance.
- Have knowledge of plant maintenance budgets to effectively investigate discrepancies or concerns.
- Keep EAM supplier data bases and part number current and accurate.
- Responsible for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
- Assist the Maintenance Leadership Team with various administrative functions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft Products, EAM Business management and COUPA purchasing portal.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative with infrequent direction.
- Strong detail-oriented documentation skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Possess excellent analytical skills, data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical background or the desire/ability to learn.
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
- An understanding of and support of lean operating systems.
- Good organizational skills, communication skills, strong customer focus and mentoring skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, working without direct supervision.

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
