ANDERSEN CORPORATION SUMMARY:
|
|
· Provide guidance to access resources about safety, job training, employee communication, and health-wellness-benefits systems and other essential services to support new employee onboarding.
|
|
|
· 2 years’ work or volunteer experience with counseling, guiding, training members of a workforce or community who are navigating a new system or process where language many create barriers to equal access of the employee experience. |
· 2 years’ work or volunteer experience using a non-English language to interpret or translate information or processes to new Americans |
· Two-year associate degree or a combination of education and experience |
· Strong computer skills and experience with databases and MS Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word |
· Completion of a Certified Translation Professional designation preferred |
· Strong interpersonal skills to connect with people of all backgrounds, including English and other dominant workforce languages. Ability to navigate challenging situations in a calm, fair, but effective and professional manner |
· Strong organization skills, demonstrated through ability to prioritize work, track completion of projects, seek feedback, and meet deadlines. Ability to navigate large and complex facilities and organizations to locate individual employees, conduct quick conversations with them, and respond with necessary information and guidance they need. *Fluent in Spanish and English - verbal and written -2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) No Overtime |
