SUMMARY:

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing proactive and strategic partnership to key Operational Leaders and partners within the Bayport Manufacturing campus. This role specifically will work a flexible schedule during off-shift hours encompassing a good portion of 2nd shift as well as some portions of 3rd shift. The HR Business Partner will be a key member of the broader Bayport HR Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide proactive and strategic partnership to key Operational leaders and team to help support overall vision and mission.
Drive and lead key projects that focus on employee engagement and retention of our talented employees.
Day-to-day HR support during the off-shifts for a wide range of HR related topics, issues and situations to include emphasis on employee relations.
Partners with other key resources within the boarder HR team to include payroll, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, security, training & development and legal.
Maintains a physical on-site presence on the manufacturing floor engaging in regular interactions with employees and leaders throughout the plant.
Drives continuous improvement in HR processes and procedures with the end goal of creating a positive employee experience.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS degree in Human Resources or similar discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills are a must
Computer and technical proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, MS Teams) and other software platforms

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

Strong data analytics skills with ability to use data to drive actions in the business
Conflict management and resolution skills strongly desired
Experience in manufacturing a plus
Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion and working in highly diverse team and workforce
Bi-lingual is a plus
Ability to coach and provide feedback desired

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
