SUMMARY 

This role supports the Enterprise Logistics business unit and warehouses. This role assists in developing, analyzing, interpreting, and implementing financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control with direct supervision Strong communication skills will be necessary due to the frequent interaction with leaders from finance and other areas of the business.


 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Period Close Activities

  • Journal entries
  • Expense analysis
  • Reconciliations vs. budget and forecasts
  • Variance commentary

Management Reporting

  • Period reporting packages
  • Weekly dashboards
  • Ad hoc investigation & analysis
  • Lean Sigma & investment projects / business cases

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Target setting
  • Process management
  • Compilation of inputs from a variety of sources
  • Evaluation of results and review with business partners

 QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or other related area; CPA or CMA preferred, two to five years related experience.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Basic understanding of finance & business concepts, and ability to clearly communicate those concepts to business partners.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate with business partners in your functional area. Developing ability to identify abnormal trends to socialize with business partners and supervisor.
  • Ability to analyze basic processes and support workgroups to help resolve problem areas.
  • Ability to quickly learn basic financial modeling and sound problem-solving skills.
 
SALARY INFORMATION:

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
