We are looking for a collaborative and results-orientated Project Leader to join our team within the Research Development & Innovation (RD&I) function. You will be working in an exciting, high-visibility role which involves collaborative interaction with senior leaders, external customers, manufacturing and quality partners, marketing, finance, IT, sales, service, design engineering, materials engineering, and regulatory affairs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver new product development projects from scoping through implementation following a stage gate methodology. This role presents a rare opportunity to lead one of the top projects for the company. After demonstrated success in leading projects there is an opportunity to grow into a role to lead others -- overseeing engineers and project leaders, leading their own projects.
- Manages the development and implementation of the company’s products and services by leading cross-functional and multi-site teams
- Manages a large multi-year product development initiative, while overseeing several sub projects by employing Stage Gate methodologies
- Assesses project risk and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and business case objectives
- Provides regular status reports to senior business leaders, cross functional partners, and clients
- Up to 25% travel may be required

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering-related discipline
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience with 5+ years leading multi-year product development initiatives
- Demonstrated project management experience with ability to lead projects of varying scope and complexity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to create and sustain an environment that promotes good communications
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
- Demonstrated organization skills
- Ability to manage conflicts and drive towards win-win solutions
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, consistently taking the initiative to get things done, doing things before being asked by others or forced to by events
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $121,804-$188,796.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
