To provide enterprise financial planning, analysis and decision support services to drive risk-adjusted financial results.  Develop recommendations for shareholder value creating business opportunities that assist the enterprise strategically and efficiently deploy capital to achieve short- and long-range financial plans.  Support and drive high priority corporate finance activities including corporate benefit plan investment strategy, financial engineering strategies, performance benchmarking, shareholder relations and enterprise capital allocation. Develop proposals for income statement, cash flow, balance sheet and cost of capital improvement.   A successful candidate will have intellectual curiosity, be well versed in corporate finance and capital markets theory, partner with internal and external thought leaders.  You want to have fun on a winning team.   • Conduct reviews financial opportunities with management that highlight key trends, opportunities that contribute to timely management decision-making. Help identify appropriate action plans which respond to opportunities and risks.
  • Guide strategy into initiatives and tactical application planning and implementation to maximize business value, reduce business risk and improve cash flow generation.
  • Perform plan reviews and special analysis including reviewing proposals for major capital or expenditures and their economic justification.
  • Partner with Tax and Enterprise Risk to design innovative and value-generating captive insurance strategies.
  • Partner with the Investment Committee, Accounting partners, Corporate Foundation and Outsourced Chief Investment Officer to provide best in class benefit plan governance and lead strategic projects to generate stakeholder value.
  • Prioritize value-added activities versus on-going information maintenance and balance these with available resources. Review all maintenance items and develop methods for simplifying or eliminating unnecessary tasks. Prioritize work requirements and allocate resources across the department.
  • Proficiently articulates presentations with the ability to develop and present ideas and reasoned arguments clearly, creatively and concisely
  • Select, supervise, coach and develop financial analysis professionals.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement or problem solving teams.
  • Provide direct financial and strategic support to the Director of Corporate Finance and M&A, Treasurer, and CFO.
  • Collaborate with finance leaders and other business leaders across divisions to align strategic direction.
  • Provides effective delegation by encouraging work performance and decision making at the appropriate level in the organization.  
  • Energizes others by using personal motivation, style and skills to foster the kind of energy and intensity that adds vitality in the workplace.
  • Takes appropriate risks by using the best information available and selects reasonable and prudent actions in uncertain situations, when potential exists for gains and/or losses.
  • Models the highest levels of ethical conduct and conveys ethical standards to others.


  • MBA, CFA, CTP, CMA, CPA or equivalent; a minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven financial leadership in supporting senior management and leading a finance team. 
  • An effective communicator with both financial and non-financial managers, directors and vice presidents.  Must be comfortable in a highly visible role.
  • Detail-orientated, but able to think globally to translate strategies into operational objectives and projects, and bring them to closure. 
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement actions to improve key free cash flow leverage points of the business.
  • Proven project management capabilities, good packaging and presentation skills and demonstrated strategic thinking skills.
  • Desire and proven ability to develop teams and finance associates.

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.  Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
