SUMMARY

Andersen is a complex enterprise, and it is the job of the Brand Ambassador to make the complex understandable by guiding external and internal audiences through factory tours, our flagship showroom, and other engagement events. The Brand Ambassador will fulfill this need primarily by facilitating and executing our corporate tour program through the historic Andersen plant in Bayport, MN. As an Andersen Brand Ambassador, you will assist our field sales representatives in capturing business opportunities and retaining customers through focused and highly engaging in-person experiences. You will show our customers where and how Andersen products are made, familiarize them with Andersen’s award-winning innovation, and share Andersen’s storied history.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tour & Showroom Presentations - Lead Andersen visitors (including dealers, trade customers, suppliers, and employees) through Bayport production areas, test labs, RD&I, and product showrooms. Maintain a highly focused and professional image while being an Andersen brand ambassador.
  • Product Knowledge - Maintain a current base of product knowledge to educate guests with the relevant information grounded in their purpose for visiting. This includes installation, service resolution, channels for purchase, and Talent Acquisition resources. Remain educated on all Andersen product lines, new launches, updates to the plant, and brand standards.
  • Resource Connections – Maintain a current flow chart of customer service contacts and resources to equip guests with the answers they need.
  • Asset Upkeep - Organize and clean tour stops, carts, showroom, and store merchandise as needed.
  • Technology Assistance - Facilitate technological needs including the company store point of sales system, Microsoft Teams conference rooms, Event registration, and the Andersen website.
  • Team Collaboration - Support the Events team as needed.

DIRECTION OF OTHERS

·       Partners with other functions within Andersen to lead the on-site experiences with guests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • HS Diploma and/or possible continued education, degree, or certificate preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability to gain broad enterprise knowledge and promote the brand.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and flexibility through dynamic work situations.
  • Open to collaboration, new ideas, and continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • May require standing for long periods, walking great distances, and the ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $24.45 to $35.45 per hour.

In 2024 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
