The Associate Event Manager will partner with the Event & Retail Manager to grow the Capital Region.

This is a great opportunity to work with a world-class organization full of difference-makers, united by the common goal of making a difference in the lives of our homeowners, colleagues, families, and communities.

This role does require to be available up to 40 weekends a year due to the nature of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversees development and participation in retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities, including on-site administration, resource supervision, and other implementation details
* Negotiates contracts with retail partners and outside vendors to procure space and to obtain the best value for our investment
* Manages the department calendar
* Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training; will also provide in-field coaching
* Leads classroom training to teach new staff RbA methodology and processes.
* Provides guidance, training, and work direction to retail marketing reps

BENEFITS:

This position earns commission in addition to base pay. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $46,209-$71,623 + commission. The commission target goal is up to $15,000 Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. In addition to your pay, Andersen Corporation currently offers benefits such as comprehensive health benefits, 401k contribution, paid time off, 8 paid standard holidays, plus 2 floating holidays, a robust employee Wellbeing program, as well as profit sharing (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications preferred or equivalent skills and abilities
* 1-2 years of experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strategic thinking skills, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
* Strong leadership skills

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
