POSITION PURPOSE


As a Video Content Specialist at Andersen, you’ll produce and create work that tells our story, promotes our products, and enhances our brand. We are looking for a Video Content Specialist who can take the lead on creating primary video assets, from shooting video to final edit, but also has a vision for the many different smaller video assets that can be used to tell the story effectively across platforms. You’ll be interested and/or experienced in marketing, digital media, and social media. You are a storyteller, with a passion for sharing and/or creating these stories through video. 


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Video shooting and editing, including transferring, sorting and correcting video footage
  • Leading the production of future videos by coordinating with staff, scouting/selecting site, selecting equipment, troubleshooting as needed and handling all logistics
  • Working closely with Digital and Content needs specific to website and social platforms 
  • Develop and manage a long-term sustainable file structure/naming convention to enable efficient content management, including the cataloguing and archiving of video content


DIRECTION OF OTHERS


Work closely with functional and product SMEs to understand business and audience needs being addressed via video assets. Collaborate with Brand + Creative Services teammates to script, provide art direction, support with graphic design or motion graphics and assist in project management.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in video production and/or completion of a certificate program in television production and graphic design from an accredited technical institute, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. 
  • Progressively responsible experience in professional video editing/production environment demonstrating competence in all areas of video production and graphic design. 
  • Knowledge of professional video production procedures, practices, techniques, terminology and equipment, including video cameras (digital SLR & standard), audio recording equipment, lighting and post-production equipment  
  • Demonstrated ability to plan video productions using a variety of methods that include storyboards, outlines and sketches.
  • Advanced abilities in Adobe Creative Suite, video editing in Final Cut Studio or other complimentary editing systems and/or software.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to write and speak clearly, and communicate effectively with groups, individuals and executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities and partner resources.
  • Creative and collaborative, open to new ideas and offers thoughtful insight to take work to the next level.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to execute on time and on budget.
  • Ability to travel (approx. 10%)

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
