JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Bayport, MN location has an opening for an Enterprise Quality Manager position.  This position leads a team of quality professionals that drive the improvement and standardization of our enterprise quality management system, including supplier quality.  Candidates for this position should have energy and passion to improve and standardize our functional processes, as well as leading with purpose and integrity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategy to advance our Quality Management Systems and lead a team of quality professionals that are focused on executing on this strategy, including the supplier quality team.
  • Partnering and driving accountability with plants to standardize quality management systems and metrics
  • Partner with IT to lead the standardization of enterprise quality management system solutions and reporting of metrics using advanced and integrated software systems
  • Facilitate best practice sharing and collaboration between plants

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in Engineering or Technology
  • 8-10 years’ experience in quality / engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing a team
  • Deep understanding of quality management systems and standards, including supplier quality development programs.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to gain alignment across a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with the design, and maintenance of current and future business intelligence applications (i.e., Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI dashboards).
  • Strong aptitude for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

work requirements

·       Must be willing to travel up to 10% when required.

PROFIT SHARING

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.
